Day 1Airport to Negombo | Dinner
Travel Time – Approx. 30 mins / 15 kms

Day 2Muthurajawela Mashes
Early morning visit "Lellama" Fish Market & set on a City Tour in Negombo. Negombo is well known for traditional fishing industry on the network of canals of Dutch-era connecting to Negombo lagoon. The town is home for the Island’s second largest fish market, as locals call – Lellama. Lellama is one of the eye-catching places in Negombo, particularly for foreigners. Visitors get a chance to walk on the beach and watch fishermen untangle their fishing nets. Many tourists visit this place to take photos, see fish auction and get grounds-on real experience of a tropical fish market in Sri Lanka.
Afternoon enjoys a boat safari in Muthurajawela Mashes. This boat safari gives you an opportunity to watch & photograph the avifauna of Muthurajawela, one of the most famous bird sanctuaries in Sri Lanka. Go on a wonderfully relaxing boat ride on the lagoon of Negombo. See the complex ecosystem of the marshlands. Watch the many water birds and others through your binoculars. Day 3Minneriya National Park
Travel Time – Approx. 3 1/2hrs / 145 kms.
This morning begin your journey to Sigiriya. En route visit the Golden Cave Temples in Dambulla. This is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is the most impressive cave temples of Sri Lanka where ancient paintings of Lord Buddha's life has been artistically painted.
On your arrival set on an exclusively private jeep safari at the Minneriya National Park from 3 to 6 PM to photograph the unique phenomenon Of elephant gathering. During the dry season, from June to September, hundreds of elephants gather around the Minneriya Tank for water. Such a large number of elephants could not be sighted at one place, anywhere else in the world. Day 4The Sigiriya Rock Fortres
First flush of morning takes a real village walk through the rustic rural community of Sigiriya and Habarana. It’s not merely a walk only but an authentic encounter with the local village folk; experiencing their lifestyles, their culture, and their hospitality.
Afternoon climb the Sigiriya Rock Fortress (Lion’s Rock), one of the most extraordinary artistic complexes of its time (477 – 498 AD). Declared as an UNESCO heritage site in 1982, this magnificent citadel allures artistic and architectural curiosity from around the globe.
Tip-"For a better scenic capture of the reflection of the Rock Fortress, you will encounter a small lake on your way to the Rock.“

Day 5Ancient City of Polonnaruwa
Morning visits the Ancient Rock Monastery of Pidurangala which is another Hotspot of Photographers to take Pictures of Sigiriya specially during the sunrise.
Afternoon enjoys a sightseeing tour of the Medieval Capital City of Polonnaruwa. This was declared as an UNESCO heritage site in 1982. After the demise of Anuradhapura, Polonnaruwa became the middle historic capital of Sri Lanka (1017 – 1235 AD). Day 6Temple of the Tooth
Travel Time – Approx. 2 1/2hrs / 95 kms
The morning begins your journey to Kandy. En route visit a Spice Garden to see many different types of spices, Sri Lanka is famous for. You will be introduced to different spices and shown how some of these spices are grown and processed. You may buy spices, traditional remedies and cosmetics, taste a herbal brew and in some venues, enjoy the full flavors of Sri Lankan spices over lunch or an Ayurveda massage based on natural products from the garden.
Thereafter visit a Batik Factory which is a great place to see the batik-making process. Evening visit the Temple of Tooth, with its guardian elephants is a deeply significant Buddhist site that contains a tooth of Buddha collected from his funeral pyre and this draws thousands of pilgrims from across the world. Here you could witness a traditional Kandyan Dance Performance.

Day 7Peradeniya Botanical Garden
Morning visit the Peradeniya Botanical Garden. These stunning gardens were once reserved exclusively for Kandyan royalty. Today even commoners are allowed in to enjoy the most impressive and largest (60 hectares) botanical gardens in Sri Lanka.
Afternoon set on a City Tour by Tuk Tuk. You can saunter around the Kandy Lake the atmosphere alone will intrigue you to spend a few moments here. You can visit Kandy Market to purchase good quality fruits & vegetables.
Late afternoon visit 03 Temples in Kandy; Gadaladeniya, Embekke Devale and Lankathilaka Viharaya.

Day 8The Train through Tea Country
Travel Time – Approx. 2 1/2 hrs / 80 kms Morning leaves for Nuwara Eliya by Train. A train journey is truly a rare experience and is an adventure itself! This is one of the best scenic routes where you could photograph the locomotive through tea plantation, villages & cascading waterfalls. Upon arrival to Hill Country, visit a tea plantation and factory. Here you will enjoy the absolute tea experience, taking you to the moment the young tea leaves are plucked from the plantation to being processed in the factory to make a steamy cup of tea. If you are interested, the tea factory is the best place to purchase good quality tea for your consumption.

Day 9Horton Plains
Time – Approx. 2hrs / 55 kms Early morning visit Horton Plains & World's End. Horton plains is a plateau surrounded by some of the highest peaks in Sri Lanka along with the cloud rainforest and windy grasslands make for a surreal experience. The general landscape is rolling hill country with grassy plains in the midst. The low lying grasslands on the plains are swampy areas with many natural springs, lakes, and streams that are scattered throughout the area. Waterfalls can also be found with "Bakers fall" being the most famous. There are several sheer cliffs drops the most popular being the Worlds End.

Day 10Safari at Yala National Park

Spend your time here on a guided game drive exploring the dynamic wildlife and the most luxuriant plant life in Yala National Park. Being one of the largest parks in Sri Lanka, it is the ideal place to sight the rare leopard!

Day 11Stilt Fishing
Travel Time – Approx. 4hrs / 170 kms Today leisurely leave for your beach hotel in Galle. En route witness The Blow Hole & Stilt Fishermen in Weligama which is one of the most interesting traditional fishing methods of Sri Lanka. This is considered as the most famous photographic shot of Sri Lanka.

Day 12Colombo
Morning go on a wonderful boat ride down the Madu River with its flourishing ecosystem. Pass through the secretive passages created by the mangroves. See the basking crocodiles and water monitors. Visit one of the small islands with its cinnamon harvesting natives.
Enjoy the restorative qualities of the avian life fish massage. Observe the water birds in their natural habitats.
